Whats the correct dj equipment for me if i want to use a macbook prow beside it?
i really want to get into dj-ing and need to bring back a set. i know its not a good idea to spend alot of money if i dont similar to it, but i'd rather get something somewhat nice. are in that any specific models that i can get? because i always see djs surrounded by clubs that have sets with their macbook pros and i dunno what brand it is.

I reflect most people using a system called Serato Scratch. Look it up, its the standard for DJs right in a minute. There is also one called Tracktor.
DJing with a laptop requires DJ software and (in most cases) a controller. The controller is usually a combination of legitimate CD players or turntables and special discs that have a code on them to control the computer. Some companies generate special boxes full of buttons for you to control the software. The disadvantage of those is that each one is different and you'll have to fetch yours with you if you want to play on the system you're familiar next to.
There are a lot of options. I suggest befriend a DJ and trying out there stuff before you drop a bunch of currency.
Seriously you should get some DJ friends if you can. Good DJs will want to help other DJs and you'll swot up about how to get gigs, how to ballance your own taste with what the crowd demands, and they will keep you from becoming a DJ hot-head which is no fun for anyone. Cheers and goodluck!
