Can I use fast-pitch softball equipment for slow-pitch softball?

I have a fast-pitch glove and bat, but would like to play recreational slow-pitch softball. I am wondering if it is adjectives for some people to have a fast-pitch glove and bat while playing slow-pitch softball. I am for the most part concerned about being competent to use my glove, which I picked because it fits me well. What are y'all's thoughts?

I have played 23 years of softball and the glove doesn't concern. I played fastpitch and slowpitch in the same year and used duplicate glove. No biggie. If anything it will give you a little bit of an brim because the ball is smaller. The bat is a different story. You can use a fastpitch bat, again no biggie, but it is a lighter bat. In slowpitch because it is obviously abundantly slower pitch you can use a lot heavier bat like a 27oz or 28oz. Usually fastpitch bat are around 23 or 24. It will do the same thing but the heavier a bat the farther the globe will go. Good Luck! Slowpitch is a lot of fun.
the difference beside gloves is how broke-in it is.
