How do you weigh the altitude of a free standing be reluctant minus the use of measure equipment?
I have a class project where i own to measure the height of the flagpole at our conservatory. I cannot use a range finder or anything like that but enjoy to figure out how tall it is. Just wondering what some thinking are.
One suggested by our teacher is to make a right triangle out of serious newspaper with two 45* angles. Then line up the triangle so that the long wrapping up is in a direct line near the top of the flagpole and measure the distance you are away from the base of the flagpole. This is one agency to do it, but are there any other simpler ways?
